What prints well on a mug, and what does not
Ceramic printing handles full colour, so photographs and gradients reproduce properly - unusual among corporate gifts. The constraint is geometry, not colour: the handle interrupts the wrap, so artwork needs a safe margin either side or the design will run into it.
Inner-colour and colour-changing bodies are available, but check contrast. A dark inner with dark artwork on the outside looks striking in a mockup and muddy in the hand.
Packing matters more than people expect
Mugs are the one gift where delivery is a real risk. Individually boxed and cushioned they travel fine; loose in a carton they do not. On one order two mugs arrived broken - we replaced them quickly and repacked the rest more securely, which is the standard we hold now.
If mugs are going out to home addresses rather than one office, say so in the enquiry: distributed delivery needs sturdier individual packing than a single bulk drop.
